Welcome to Chronically Fabulous!
I am a twenty-something graduate student. I attend the University of Oklahoma where I am studying clinical mental health counseling and enjoying every second of it -almost. I was born with Cerebral Palsy which affected my legs and gait, but with three successful heel cord lengthening surgeries, and 15+ years of physical therapy (shout-out to Alice!), I was blessed to have a normal life. I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Behcet’s disease (look for a tab that discusses what Behcet’s is!) at the age of fifteen and had to learn a new way of life through chronic pain, migraines, days off school, and many doctors’ appointments and specialists. I have a Health and Wellness business and I would love for you to check out the products!
This will be used to house my thoughts, insights, and awareness efforts of chronic illness and disability.
